We have used Raven Sound twice now and been blown away by the professionalism and sound both times.

Prior to our gig, the first time we used Raven Sound, Jamie was in touch to get details of how the band wanted to be set up. From what sound we were going for, the type of set up including mic’d up instruments, how many singers and mics we would need, to where we stand on stage and what effect we’d need in songs.

The second time we used Raven Sound, Jamie met me at the venue prior to the gig to get an idea of the venue’s sound and acoustics and advised how he thought we could get a better sound throughout. It was very impressive to get that level of dedication.

During both gigs, he has his sound booth set up at the back of the venue adjusting in real time to what we need as a band. This is absolutely essential, as the songs change and the audience gets louder the more we need to hear ourselves.

Everything was included in the price agreed, right down to every band member’s own monitor, so we could stay focused and tight. There were no hidden “oh that will be extra” fees after we had agreed what we wanted.

Highly recommend Raven Sound to any band and venue wanting to really impress their audience and patrons.

I have been a regular at the Dashwood Roadhouse for years & loved the outside stage for those summer gigs, and getting the sound right outside is a pretty tall order, but suddenly it was excellent, well balanced & clear, which is when I walked over to the sound desk to congratulate the engineer on a good job. In winter, the gigs are inside, but the same well balanced & clear sound is the result of the close control by Raven Sound.

Jamie has done the sound for my band The Way Back several times. It's a good sounding PA, but good equipment is only half the job. Jamie knows how to use it. Always gets a good quick drum sound. Vocal monitors are always clear and audible, plus I like it when he adds complimentary digital delay to enhance vocals. That's the icing on the cake. Thank you, Jamie.
